If you are looking for a huge lake, beautiful environment and some challenges, then Lake Balaton is for you. It’s lake surface is 600 km2. Its average depth is around 3 meter. The bottom is flat and sandy. Many people believe that the world record carp is living in this lake. For sure there are many big ones, but because it is a giant water, sometimes it takes days to catch carps.
Storms can be dangerous on the lake. When the second storm signal is on, you must not go on the lake by boat.
Since 2015 you can take in your tackle by boat up to 350 meters from the coast. One angler can fish with maximum two rods. One week, two weeks and yearly fishing tickets are available for catch and release type of fishing.
It is very difficult to find private houses with private beach on a good place, which can be rent. However, Catch Carp Hungary did the research for you, and now we offer you three exclusive places, with house, boat and own private beach. Plus we have two private bivvy swims as well. These places are fed all year around.
Take an advantage of this unique opportunity. The places are taken very quickly, usually in the last part of the year for next year or latest in winter (January-February) for the whole year. There are sometimes cancellations, so it is always worth it to ask. These places are perfect for family holidays and for carp fishing as well.
The yearly Hungarian fishing licence is mandatory, but of course we can help you to get it if you do not have it already!
House Nr.1
This property has a unique garden with 100 meter wide private beach. On it there is a two-level house. On each floor is a living room (with sofa, LCD TV , air conditional), a bedroom (with a king-size bed) and a bathroom. There are piers from where you can fish. These are fed places all year around.
The house is just 20 meters away from the lake. The house is comfortable for four people. However, two-two people can sleep in the living room on the sofa, if the others do not mind. So up to eight people can fit in the house. There is also wifi.
You can also rent just one apartment, the ground floor or the top floor.
The weekly fishing ticket is not in the price. It is about €100/angler/week with the yearly Hungarian fishing license together.

The prices are not per person, but per swim/house. So, if more anglers are coming, they can share the price.
It includes a 4 meter long inflatable boat, a 75lb electric motor and unlimited battery.

This property has a unique garden with 100 meter wide private beach. On it there is a house, which is 180m2. There are four rooms and a bathroom in it. There is LCD TV in each room and wifi.
There are two piers where you can fish. It is a fed place all year around. The house is just 10 meters away from the lake.
The weekly fishing ticket is not in the price. It is about €100/angler/week with the yearly Hungarian fishing license together.
