6. What do we collect and why?

6.1. Subscribe to Newsletter

We regularly send newsletters (1 or 2 per week) to those interested in carp fishing in Hungary. In our newsletters we keep you up to date with the latest news about your fishing opportunities in Hungary. In this way, we report first and foremost on our own lakes, booking options, fishing experiences, and tips on fishing.

When you sign up for a newsletter, we collect your name and email address, the date you signed up, and your IP address. Your consent to the collection of data is legal. 8. Data security

9. Using Google Ads Conversion Tracking

1. We use the Google Ads Online Advertising Program as a Data Controller and, within that framework, use Google’s conversion tracking service. Google Conversion Tracking is a service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”).

2. When a User accesses a web page through a Google ad, a cookie is needed for conversion tracking on his computer. The validity of these cookies is limited.

3. When the User browses certain pages of the Website and the cookie has not expired, Google and Data Controller may also see that the User has clicked on the advertisement.

4. Each Google Ads client receives a different cookie so that they cannot be tracked through the Ads client websites.

5. The information we obtain through conversion tracking cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for our clients who choose to use conversion tracking for Ads. 10. Using Google Analytics

12. Definitions

1. “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); identifiable by a natural person who, directly or indirectly, in particular by virtue of one or more factors such as name, number, position, online identification or physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the natural person identified;

5. “recipient” shall mean any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body to whom personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. Public authorities which have access to personal data in the framework of an individual investigation in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be considered as recipients; the processing of such data by these public authorities must comply with the applicable data protection rules in accordance with the purposes of the processing;

6. “third party” means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which is not the data subject, the controller, the processor or any person who, under the direct control of the controller or the processor, authorized to manage it;

7. “consent of the data subject” means the voluntary, explicit and unambiguous expression of the will of the data subject, by which the data subject indicates his or her consent to the processing of personal data concerning him or her by means of a declaration or act of unambiguous confirmation;

8. “data incident” means a breach of security that results in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

13. Principles governing the processing of personal data

Your personal information

1. it must be administered in a manner which is lawful and fair and transparent to the data subject (‘legality, due process and transparency’);

2. they are collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not treated in a way incompatible with those purposes; further processing of data for archiving purposes of public interest, scientific and historical research or statistical purposes (“purpose limitation”) is not considered incompatible with the original purpose;

6. is handled in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, through the use of appropriate technical or organizational measures (“integrity and confidentiality”).

The controller is responsible for compliance with the above and must be able to justify such compliance (“accountability”).

14. Legal basis for data management

The processing of personal data is only lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following is true:

1. the data subject has given his consent to the processing of his personal data for one or more specific purposes;

2. the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to the conclusion of the contract;

3. the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;

4. the processing is necessary for the protection of the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person;

5. the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;

6. the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data take precedence, in particular if the data subject is a child.

15. Limitation of Liability

Catch Carp Hungary shall have no liability or liability whatsoever with respect to the conduct of the User (s) vis-à-vis other Users or any third party.

Catch Carp Hungary assumes no liability for any damage caused, in particular by a computer virus, to User’s IT equipment or other property as a result of login, use of the System, or opening of sent emails. Catch Carp Hungary is also not responsible for the system’s inaccessibility or slow operation due to the ISP’s fault.

Catch Carp Hungary shall not be liable for any conduct (in particular damage) arising out of improper, unlawful, unlawful use of the System – service – against the GTC, or for any less than expected loss of financial gain or loss of financial gain by the User in using the service .

Catch Carp Hungary shall also not be liable for any damages or losses of any kind whatsoever from loss of personal or confidential information, inability to use all or part of the hardware or software, personal injury or failure to perform any obligation (including obligations arising from negligence, good faith or reasonable thinking).

16. User Responsibilities

User declares that he / she is aware of the rules of Internet mailing. Catch Carp Hungary is not responsible for the content of data traffic generated when using the Service. Catch Carp Hungary is entitled to suspend or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, if User violates third party interests or applicable laws by using the Software.

To obtain a fishing license, you need to ask:

  • Full Name

  • Mother’s maiden name

We log data for security reasons:

  • Viewed page / function
  • Exact time
  • IP address
  • Browser cookies

We build a profile for marketing purposes:

  • Language of communication?
  • Which lake?
  • Start and end of fishing?
  • Which package (Basic or VIP)?
  • Number of anglers?
  • Number of non-anglers?
  • Name
  • Phone
  • E-mail address
  • How many times do you go fishing abroad?
  • Are you flying or going by car?
  • Do you use your own or rented equipment?
  • Would you stay in a house or in your own tent?
  • What is most important to you when fishing outdoors?

Profile building is based on the information you provide. Our goal is to make the messages we send really interesting and relevant. We do not like receiving general messages that are not addressed to us.

Based on profile data, we manually target and build newsletters using manually created filters. There is no automated data processing decision in the process.

As a data processor, we store the data you record on the Catch Carp Hungary interface. The scope of this data depends on what fields you create and it is your responsibility to record what data you enter into them.

18. Settlement of disputes

Catch Carp Hungary and the User shall use their best endeavors to resolve any dispute or dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement through direct negotiations. The Parties shall mutually inform each other immediately after becoming aware of any circumstance that may arise after the conclusion of the Contract.

If the parties concerned cannot settle their dispute arising under or in connection with the contract within 30 days of the commencement of the said direct negotiations, they shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Buda Central District Court.
