If you are looking for more comfort and chalets right next to the lake, then we would recommend Paradise Lake and Island Lake, Neverland Lake or Carp Heaven. At Paradise lake there is even air conditional in the chalets. All houses are equipped with, electricity, fridge, microwave, heating, 4 beds, boat and pier. At Island Lake on one side are the chalets, but on the other one you can set up your own bivvy. At Neverland lake, there are just 3 swims on 20 hectare, and all the houses are fully equipped with toilet, shower, kitchen, beds and so on. At Carp Heaven the chalets are very similar to Paradise lake.

Valley lake is very nice, but there are some snags and various depth, so it is not always easy to fish. Here you have to use fish finder and you cannot play the fish from the pier, just from boat. Therefore you need electric motor as well. Balaton is also a challenging lake, as it is very big (600km2), so sometimes it can take days to get till the first bite.

It is usually in May or in the beginning of June. However, all the fish never spawn at the same time, so there are always some to catch.

Well, there are no rules in carp fishing, however, in Hungary the smelly baits work maybe a bit better, such like, squid, crab, liver, halibut and so on. But you can catch nice carps with sweet boilies too. For particles we use mostly tiger nut and corn on these lakes.

Yes, but you have to take it out at the end of your fishing. You can use just buoyant markers on Paradise Lake and Island Lake, because the H markers are not allowed. However, on Valley Lake you can use H markers, as it is very deep so you cannot use buoyant marker.

Braided line is forbidden on all of our lakes. You can just use mono for main line. Your rig can be braided line of course. We use mainly 0.35 mm mono on our lakes.
